Company Description

Ecopol is hiring a Quality Control Manager in Griffin, GA. The Quality Control Manager coordinates and manages the quality control activities in the production process, to ensure that raw materials, semi-finished products reach and respect certain quality parameters, from before the construction phase to the distribution phase of the product.


Position

· The action of the Quality Control Manager extends to the entire production process to ensure that the product leaving the factory is of the best quality.

· The Quality Control Manager establishes the procedures necessary to control the production flow and ensures the achievement of quality standards in all processing phases, up to the realization of the finished product.

· Interfaces interfaces daily with the Plant Manager to verify the effective implementation of the quality control procedures during the various stages of product processing. In the event that the standards are not met, the Quality Manager must take the corrective actions necessary to resolve the non-compliance situations, working closely with the Quality Control team and the Operation team.

· Management of the Quality Control team, taking care of their training, assigning them procedures to be respected and objectives to be achieved, at the same time monitoring the progress of the work carried out.

· Collaborates with the Sales and Marketing department to receive and give feedback to customers, thus identifying shortcomings and possible areas for improvement.

· Establish a system of indicators to monitor performance and guarantee a constant level of quality over time.

· Interfaces with the manager of the Integrated Systems and with the certifying inspectors of external bodies called to verify the manufacturing processes.

· Other duties as required


Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Chemistry, Engineer, or related work field

· 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and quality assurance

· Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles

· Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite

· Excellent Communication Skills

· Detail-oriented
