Position

As Meisystem Inc. continues growing its business in the North America territory, committed and highly motivated Service Technicians are needed to perform installations, maintenance, trainings and technical support to customers in the USA, Canada and Mexico. Reporting directly to the Tech Manager, the ideal candidate should derive providing solutions to problems while ensuring a high level of overall customer service and satisfaction.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Travel 70% of the time to perform machine installation, preventive maintenance and technical assistances at customer sites
  • Identify, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve customer/equipment issues in a professional and timely manner via phone and email
  • Support users providing necessary technical advice, provide information on machine component replacement via phone and email
  • Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles
  • Attend shows and exhibitions if required, as technical support for installation of machines

Requirements

Skills:

  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering field: 2-3 years; preferable Automation, Automotive
  • Knowledge of modern CNC machinery principles is highly appreciated
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical/electronic and pneumatic components
  • Good telephone and communication skills
  • Previous Helpdesk (telephone support) experience is highly appreciated
  • Spanish is highly appreciated

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent bending at the waist, twisting of the upper body, standing, speaking and hearing and frequent kneeling
  • Repetitive use of the hands, squeezing, keyboarding and crouching
  • Lifting and carrying of 1-10 pounds, recurrent lifting of 11-20 pounds and occasional lifting and carrying of 21-50 or more pounds
  • Constant and infrequent pushing and pulling of over 50 pounds with the aid of handcarts or other wheeled devices
  • Must be able to perform close detail work, operate mobile equipment. Must possess good visual and color acuity

Education:

  • High school diploma or trade school
  • ASE certification highly appreciated, experience with ISO 9001

Additional Requirements:

  • Operation of a motor vehicle as part of the position’s duties, a valid driver's license
  • Motor vehicle records check, in addition to standard background checks, is also required
