As MEI USA continues to expand, we are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Talent Management Specialist to join our team and elevate our talent strategies.

Position

An ideal candidate would be actively involved in the HR administration adhering to the recruiting, onboarding and other ad hoc duties.


Talent Management Specialist Responsibilities:


Recruiting

  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting strategies for each role.
  • Identifies sourcing strategy, posting and advertisement processes.
  • Reviews all applicants and screens qualified applications to select qualified candidates.
  • Schedules interviews, oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with hiring manager and stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and Human Resource leader to develop an offer, including pay, start date, and other pertinent details.
  • Facilitates background checks, employee eligibility verifications and obtains references.
  • Coordinates all applicant tracking and data related to recruitment process.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintains online career site and job postings and other related recruiting materials.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.

Onboarding

  • Organizes and assists with new hire orientation, including all administrative actions that are taken.
  • Monitors training period performance.

Training

  • Aggregates training needs identified in performance management process and other interactions.
  • Recommends and tracks internal and external training and continuing education including safety, compliance, technical and soft skills.

HR Administration

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date personnel files, records, and documentation in HR software.
  • Oversees overtime and non-exempt and PTO time tracking system.
  • Answers questions from employees relative to policies, benefits, hiring processes, and routine employee relations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and modern technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Assists with executing employee relations activities including celebrations and employee meetings.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration.
  • Proven experience as a Talent Management Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of talent acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Familiarity with HR systems and databases.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to plan and organize, passionate about accuracy and attention to detail.
